Two-day National Seminar on Innovations in Research Methodology
The Postgraduate & Research Department of Commerce, Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, in association with the Indian Accounting Association (Kerala Branch) and IQAC, successfully organized a two-day National Seminar on “Innovations in Research Methodology: Perspectives for Commerce and Social Sciences” on 19th and 20th February 2026. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Saji Gopinath, Vice Chancellor of the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology, who in his inaugural address emphasized the importance of adopting innovative, technology-driven, and interdisciplinary approaches in research.
The seminar featured distinguished keynote speakers including Dr. Gabriel Simon Thattil, President of the Indian Accounting Association; CMA (Dr.) T. Rajesh, Dean, Faculty of Commerce, University of Kerala; Prof. (Dr.) Biju T, Professor and Head of Commerce; and Dr. Biju AV, Associate Professor of Commerce, University of Kerala. The sessions provided valuable insights into emerging research methodologies, fostering academic interaction and enriching the research competencies of participants from across the country.
