Research Meet 2025 Highlights Collaborative Initiatives and Funding Opportunities
The Research and Development Cell of Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, organised its Annual Research Meet 2025 on 5th July at the college seminar hall, bringing together 41 participants, including internal and external research guides and scholars. The event aimed to promote collaborative research and share updates on funding avenues and scholar assessment. Principal Dr. V M Anandakumar delivered the presidential address, while Dr. N Gopakumar, Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala, inaugurated the programme.
Sessions on funding opportunities across disciplines and a feedback segment highlighted the need for infrastructure development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and optimal use of research facilities. Constructive suggestions from participants included proposals for national-level collaborations, equipment maintenance committees, and exploring crowd funding. The meet concluded with renewed motivation for impactful research and institutional strengthening.
