Census 2027 Awareness Quiz conducted
As part of the Census Awareness Programme, Mahatma Gandhi College organized a Quiz Competition titled “Our Census, Our Development” on 17 June 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall.
The programme commenced with a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the significance of the Census and its role in national planning and development. The presentation helped create awareness among students regarding the importance of accurate census data in policy formulation and resource allocation.
Following the presentation, an individual quiz competition was conducted. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 45 PG students from various departments. The competition provided an opportunity for students to test and enhance their knowledge of census-related topics.
After a keenly contested quiz, Ms. Arathi P. J., First Year M.Sc. Physics, secured the First Prize. The programme was successful in promoting awareness about the Census and encouraging active student engagement in national development initiatives.
